I can already hear the “conservatives” squealing about the need to bust union agreements.( Even though they’re legally binding contracts)! I actually had some dumb bastard arguing the other day about GM going in part to the unions, in exchange for concessions .

@EckoStream Two wars can be afforded because there is open ended borrowing on war. The wars of today can make the US the poorest and most military weak nation in the world in the future. The only thing we may have to fight with, if we don’t sell them or lose them, is nuclear arms. When countries stop funding our war machine, we have no money to fight with. The rich aren’t paying for wars. That is why the money is borrowed heavily. The debt is left for ordinary Americans.
